Greetings! I’m known to the world at large as Suzan Mianowski: art
teacher, mom, jeweler, seamstress, designer, owner of Brigit’s Hearth.
Please meet my two alter egos, Lady Brigit and Lady q’IDar!
Lady Brigit has sewn Custom Costumes for over twenty years. A costume wearer herself, she understands the liberating effects of donning a costume and assuming a persona different than her everyday self. When she came to the Craft years ago, she instantly saw how wearing special attire would enhance her magickal experience, and has been making Magical Attire ever since. Under the label Artemis Moon, she makes a line of garments inspired by Greek, Roman, and Egyptian antiquities. Lady Brigit imbues her creations with Magick by following the lead of fabric, color, pattern and style, allowing every garment to speak for Itself. She can make Custom Ritual Attire during a ritually appropriate moon phase, and ritually cleanse them before shipping. Lady q’IDar has been Klingon since the early 1990’s. Her costuming skills are legendary in the Klingon fan community. You will always identify a q’IDar creation by the excellent quality of the craftsmanship, and by the flattering fit of the outfit. Come to her for your custom costuming needs and you will be thrilled with the result. As a craftswoman myself, I appreciate fine workmanship from others. You can be assured that anyone whose work is offered at Brigit’s Hearth makes items with the same quality and attention to detail that I expect from myself. I met Maria Herlihy years ago at a Star Trek convention. She was selling one-of-a-kind Bajoran earrings and memory bracelets made of beads and found objects. It was only much later that I found out that she makes exquisite copper wands, polymer clay Goddess images and wire wrapped creatures. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Treva Rodemaker is my friend, Magickal Mentor, fellow seamstress and craftswoman. She has developed Animal Totem Runes for divination, and makes wonderful Red Snake Jewelry from polymer clay. |
